Voided Slabs

     Voided Slabs are a precast prestressed slab for bridge, building, marine pier and fish passage culvert replacement applications. Voided Slabs generally span 30' - 90'. These slabs can be used in applications where slab depth may be an issue or when construction speed is a factor. The versatility of these slabs makes them a good fit for many customized bridge projects. Options for these slabs include:

• Finishing the top of the girders for the final driving surface, HMA or cast-in-place topping.
• Variable widths and depths are economically feasible
• Adding precast curbs and/or sidewalks with a second-cast
• Adding inserts for guardrails
