The Portland Avenue to Port of Tacoma Road, Northbound HOV project improves a section of northbound I-5 starting at mile post 134.62 and ending at mile post 136.63 in Tacoma Washington. It is the first of a two part project increasing the capacity of I-5 and improving freeway access. The project consists of several small bridge and road improvements, new on and off ramps, and a large bridge over the Puyallup River.
