| HOME | Port Orchard Intermodal Terminal, Port Orchard, WA |

The Port Orchard Intermodal Terminal (POIT) float was built to replace and upgrade an ageing, deteriorated structure. The gangways and walkways are less steep for ease of use and ADA compliance. The float has an irregular perimeter that follows the contour of the sea floor, which allows it to be as close to shore as possible without touching the bottom at low tide. It is also "C" shaped, which provides a protected inner tie-up berth.
